# Guest post

There are two search scenarios available in the service:

### Search by specific domain

If you already know the site where you want to place your link:

* Enter the domain in the search bar
* Click Submit
If the site is in the database, it will appear in the table.

This option is used when:
* you already know the site you need
* you want to check if it is in the database
* or you are working from a pre-approved list of domains

{% hint style="info" %}
⚠️ If the domain is not found, it means it is not currently connected to the service.
{% endhint %}

### Search via Filters

If you are selecting sites for a project, use the filters.

#### How Guest Posting Filters Work

Standard filters:

* [**By Topic**](/guest-post/by-topic.md) – Topic-by-traffic is determined based on the topics of articles that rank in Google, excluding articles that do not rank for at least one keyword.

{% content-ref url="/pages/n5w0PkVVH66R0CwdWQQW" %}
[By Topic](/guest-post/by-topic.md)
{% endcontent-ref %}

* **Domain Rating** – a metric from Ahrefs that reflects the strength of a domain’s backlink profile on a scale of 0 to 100.
* **Referring Domains** – the total number of unique domains linking to the website.
* **Traffic** – The estimated volume of organic traffic to the website per month.
* **Keywords** - The number of search queries for which the website ranks in Google’s search results
* **Backlinks** – The total number of external links pointing to the website, including duplicates.
* **Language** – The primary language of the website’s content.
* **Country** – The country from which the website receives the largest volume of traffic.
* **Domain age** – The age of the domain in years, according to Whois data.
* **Citation Flow** – a Majestic metric that shows the “quantity” of links, regardless of their quality.
* **Trust Flow** – a metric from Majestic that assesses the “trustworthiness” of a site based on the quality of linking sources. A higher TF means the domain has more high-quality links.
* **Spam score** – A metric from Moz that estimates the likelihood of a site being penalized by Google. Based on a set of "spam signals" (e.g., low-quality links, keyword stuffing, etc.). Measured from 0 to 100%.
* **Domain Authority** – a Moz metric indicating the domain’s “strength” in search engine results. Rated on a scale from 1 to 100. The higher the score, the more likely it is to rank higher.
* **Authority score** – A Semrush metric that reflects the overall strength of a domain, taking into account link quality, traffic, spam signals, and other SEO factors. Scale: 0 to 100.
* **Price** – The cost of publishing content on the website.
* **TLD** – Top-Level Domain – the domain extension of the website (e.g., .com, .org, .net), indicating the type or geographic origin of the resource.
* **Niche** – The website’s topic, corresponding to one or more categories from the provided list.
* **Exclude Niche** – Topics the website does not work with and does not publish content about.

> Click **Apply** to get a list of sites that match your strategy.

#### Top Country

Top Country is determined by the site's primary traffic source, not its domain zone.

For example:

* a site may have a .com domain
* but if 90% of its traffic comes from the USA, the Top Country will be the US, even if the site is multilingual

#### Niche and Exclude Niche – key filters

* **Niche** – topics that the site accepts
* **Exclude Niche** – topics the site explicitly does not work with

Example:

* If you select Niche = Finance, the results will include sites that are willing to publish finance-related content
* If you select Exclude = Crypto, the results will include sites that do not accept crypto content but are open to everything else

### Site Table and the Notes Column

The table allows you not only to view sites but also to compare and sort them by the metrics that matter to you.

#### What you can do:

* sort columns (e.g., by price or DR)
* show/hide and reorder columns via the Columns menu
* Reset the table to its default view via Reset
* click Buy next to the desired site

Once you’ve applied the filters, you’ll be taken to the table of search results.

In addition to standard metrics, there is a Notes column (Notes – comments and requirements from the webmaster regarding the conditions for placing links on their site), and it is critically important.

The Notes may include:

* niche restrictions
* article length requirements
* placement conditions
* additional webmaster rules

{% hint style="info" %}
📌 We strongly recommend always reading the Notes before adding a site to your cart to avoid situations where a site technically fits your criteria but does not accept your type of content.
{% endhint %}
